Travis Kelce is revealing what he thought about Taylor Swift’s viral celebration at the Kansas City Chiefs game.
Swift was watching from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 20 when Kelce scored his first touchdown of the 2026 NFL season against the Indianapolis Colts.
As Kelce celebrated his touchdown, Swift jumped up and pointed toward her wedding ring.
She then appeared to shout, “That’s my husband!” as she proudly celebrated the moment from the stands.
The adorable reaction quickly spread across social media, with fans turning Swift’s celebration into a popular meme.
Kelce finally addressed the viral moment during the Sept. 23 episode of his *New Heights* podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
His response was just as playful as Swift’s celebration.
“Just doing my deed as a husband,” Travis said while discussing the moment.
He then added, “Proud wife, baby. Gotta make my girl proud.”
The brothers also had plenty of fun looking through the memes inspired by Swift pointing at her wedding ring.
Travis laughed about the internet’s reaction, while Jason joined in on the jokes.
The touchdown itself was also an important moment for Kelce, who helped the Chiefs defeat the Colts 33-30 in overtime.
He finished the game with nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown, giving him his first 100-yard receiving performance of the season.
Kelce also reached a major career milestone during the game by breaking the NFL record for career receiving yards after the catch.
His total reached 6,288 yards, surpassing Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk’s previous mark of 6,230.
For Swift, however, the biggest highlight may have been seeing her husband find the end zone.
Her enthusiastic reaction showed just how proud she was of Kelce’s performance.
