CELEBRITYWill smith divorced he’s wife after years of her cheating, he’s now focused on being physically fit, would you have done the same?Published 8 hours ago on September 2, 2026By Lisa Berube
For years, the relationship between Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has remained one of Hollywood’s most talked-about marriages. But behind the glamorous appearances was a much more complicated reality.
Jada revealed in 2023 that actually been living separate lives since 2016. Despite the separation, however, legally divorced, with Jada saying at the time that she had made a promise that there would never be a reason for them to divorce.
Their relationship has also been surrounded by years of public conversations about infidelity and Jada’s highly publicized “entanglement” with August Alsina. However, it would be inaccurate to say that Will officially divorced Jada because of cheating—the couple has not been confirmed to have legally divorced.
What has captured attention, though, is the idea of Will concentrating more heavily on himself, his career, his family and his physical well-being.
For many people, a difficult relationship can become a turning point: instead of remaining trapped in anger and disappointment, they choose to rebuild themselves—through exercise, discipline, work and personal growth.
And perhaps that is the biggest lesson here.
Sometimes the strongest response to heartbreak isn’t revenge. It’s becoming the healthiest, strongest and most confident version of yourself.
Interestingly, the latest reports have made Will and Jada’s story even more complicated. In July 2026, reports said Jada had moved back in with Will and that the two were happy and committed to supporting each other.
So forget the rumors for a moment and answer the bigger question:
If you discovered that the trust in your marriage had been repeatedly broken, would you walk away and start rebuilding your life—or would you fight to save the relationship?
