“You don’t feel it every single day. You don’t wake up every day saying, ‘I’m absolutely so in love and you are perfect.’ That’s not what being married is. But there’s something beautiful about it anyway—about wanting to fight for something, commit to building with someone. We’re really young, and that’s a scary aspect. We’re going to change a lot. But we’re committed to growing together and supporting each other in those changes. That’s how I look at it. At the end of the day, too, he’s my best friend. I never get sick of him.” Taylor Swift finally spoke about Marrying Travis

Travis Kelce is on his way to the A-list (just ask his PR team), and he knows he’s got the ultimate role model in girlfriend Taylor Swift. Along with his popular podcast New Heights, which he hosts with his brother Jason, his career as a tight end, and a number of endorsement deals, the Super Bowl champ is also the creator of the Kelce Jam, a one-day music festival held in Kansas City and livestreamed on the social media channels of both Kelce brothers.

“It was such a blast that I had to do it again this year. I’m so excited,” Kelce told The Hollywood Reporter, referencing last year’s Jam. “I wanted to keep it fresh and keep it new, so this year we asked Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2 Chainz to come out and perform. And of course, we still got DJ Irie and my guy, DJ E-V, jumping it off, the hometown kid. We got to show the hometown love.” And no one knows more about putting on a live music show than Taylor Swift.

“Don’t try and be Taylor, that’s what I learned,” Travis Kelce joked of the lessons he learned from the Eras billionaire. “Yeah, she’s on a whole other stratosphere. She’s the best at what she does for a reason. It’s because she’s so articulate and just very dialed into every single thing that she does. And that’s the beauty of it. I’d be silly if I ever tried to take anything from what she does, other than just enjoy the people that show up. I think that’s one thing I could probably take away: She really relates to the people she’s performing in front of, and so I’ll take that.” Okay, smitten kitten!

Kelce also opened up about his long-term plans to make more moves in entertainment. After hosting SNL last year, he’s looking for more on-camera work. “I’m out here in LA trying to get more comfortable in the entertainment world before we start back up with this football thing…. I’m definitely still dabbling in the scripted world, the entertainment world, and we’ll see where that road takes me,” he said. Hmm, I wonder if he knows anyone who can show him around?
