Taylor Swift has been named TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year amid all that’s happened in her career and everything she’s done in the world of entertainment.
From her history-making ‘Eras Tour’ that even translated to movie theatres to her very public battle against Ticketmaster. Swift did it all in 2023. But none of those things compares to the literal power couple she just formed with Kansas City Chiefs’ TE Travis Kelce. She details how they started hanging out and how much time they spent together before going public with their relationship.
Amongst all the different aspects of their relationship, Taylor Swift did make a confession about Kelce. He made her realize how much she had been missing out on watching American football.

Although it hasn’t been all great, Taylro Swift has mostly had a gratifying experience watching football games when she goes to watch her beau in action. She does get surprised by all the attention though.
Here’s what she said: “I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when then camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once. Football is awesome, it turns out. I’ve been missing out my whole life. I’m just there to support Travis.
I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads. This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell.”
As a result of Taylor Swift starting to follow the NFL, she somehow made the sport more popular than it already was. Her presence in stadiums and the fact that she is dating Travis is more than enough for Swifties to start following the sport as well.
And as far as Swifties goes, they are literally hundreds of millions all around the world. Taylor Swift is already on the level of other mega stars such as Madonna, Michael Jackson or Elton John. Whether you like it or not, Taylor Swift has won the hearts of millions in 2023.
