Patrick Mahomes Defends wife After More Internet Criticism, 'People Are Weird and Jealousy Is Ugly'

A hotel server has taken aim at Brittany Mahomes – the wife of Kansas City Chiefs player Patrick Mahomes – claiming the former athlete didn’t tip any staff at a luxury Hollywood hotel she stayed at.

TikTok user Jessica O’Connor, who is a former employee of 1 Hotel West Hollywood, recalled the former soccer star staying at the hotel she worked at, specifically calling her out for neglecting to leave a tip her on a $130 bill at the hotel.

Jessica, 28, also claims she didn’t tip other staff members during the entirety of her week-long stay.

‘I was a server, barista, bartender. I did every position,’ she says in the video, which has been viewed over 1 million times. ‘I believe Brittany was in town to shop for her wedding dress.’

She explained that during her first interaction with the mom-of-two, she ran up a tab that was more than $100.

‘She was there with her whole posse,’ Jessica explained. ‘Patrick was not there. I believe their tab was well over $100, maybe like $130. $0 tip.’

Jessica added ‘that happens sometimes,’ suggesting that maybe she just didn’t like her, but her behavior didn’t get any better as the week went on.

‘They were there for almost a week, I think, and did not tip a single one of our staff. Not only did she not tip, she was just genuinely unpleasant,’ she divulged.

Jessica acknowledged that celebrities ‘don’t owe’ fans anything – especially when they’re out in public.

‘As a public figure, you should always go out thinking, “OK, the people I interact with are clocking these interactions and they’re going to remember this,”‘ she pointed out.

She then went on to say that she will always remember her interaction with Brittany – and not for the right reasons.

I only judge people based off of their character, and I think one of the easiest ways to judge someone’s character is how they treat someone in a position lesser than them,’ Jessica said simply.

‘Lets just say, character assessed,’ she said surreptitiously.

DailyMail.com has contacted a spokesperson for Patrick and Brittany for comment.

Over a thousand people commented on the clip.

‘I live in KC. For the first 2 years of Patrick and Brittany living here she would drive through the plaza (an outdoor mall) and would complain ALL the time about us Kansas Missourian for acknowledging her in public.’

Another alleged that this happens more commonly than people may think.

‘I was a server in Sonoma County (CA wine country) and met a lot of celebrities and it’s wild how many don’t tip’; they wrote,

‘People do not owe you a tip,’ one user argued. ‘I don’t understand what people don’t get about that. It’s for going above and beyond. Not just working.’

Brittany has reached a whole new fan base after forming a firm friendship with Taylor Swift, who began dating Chiefs tight end and Patrick’s teammate Travis Kelce last summer.

The 28-year-old is her fair share of trolls on social media for being an avid supporter of her husband, but revealed in December that there has been more ‘rude a** people’ on her Instagram since rubbing shoulders with the international superstar.

‘Recently there has been ALOT more rude a** people on here,’ she wrote on her Instagram story on Tuesday, ‘waaaay more then normal.’

The pair have been almost inseparable since Taylor and Travis took their relationship public, even debuting a personal handshake to celebrate Chiefs touchdowns in October.

Brittany also appears to have been accepted into Taylor’s inner circle, with the Anti-Hero songstress even picking up the tab on a recent night out with Brittany and some of the Chief’s players girlfriends.
