Julia Roberts has a suggestion for Swifties that remain undecided on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s couple nickname.
Roberts–who is well-known as a major San Francisco 49ers fan–also supports the Kansas City Chiefs, and when asked about the Grammy winner’s budding romance with the NFL tight end, she highlighted a pun that so far no-one else has picked up on.
“I think let’s let them be the Kansas City Chiefs,” the 56-year-old actress joked with Extra reporter Adam Glassman.
While fans are switching off between calling the couple “Tayvis” and “Traylor,” seemingly unable to pick between the two, Kelce has his own sweet nickname that he calls his new love interest, and it’s just “Tay.”
The new submission from Roberts came amid her discussion with the outlet on Monday, Dec. 4, promoting her upcoming Netflix film Leave the World Behind, in which she co-stars alongside Ethan Hawke (Training Day, Reservation Dogs, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery), Mahershala Ali (True Detective, Green Book, Swan Song), Kevin Bacon (Footloose, The Following), and Myha’la Herrold (Bodies Bodies Bodies and Industry).
According to the official synopsis, the new film comes from writer-director Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot and Homecoming) and has a run-time shy of two and a half hours. The story is said to follow: “A family’s getaway to a luxurious rental home takes an ominous turn when a cyberattack knocks out their devices — and two strangers appear at their door.”
Leave the World Behind is set to hit the streamer this Friday, Dec. 8.
