Jason Kelce is sad to report he has no say over what plays on his TV.
On the latest episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast — New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Presented by Wave Sports + Entertainment — the Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, was asked by brother Travis Kelce, “What do you do for entertainment when you get home?”
“Most of the time I’m trying to play with my kids or watching Bluey and Paw Patrol,” the father of three said.
“Nice. At what point do you become Ed Kelce and —” he laughed, launching into an imitation of their dad taking over the TV.
“I try to put on stuff that I want to watch. They want nothing to do with it,” he said of daughters Bennett, 8 months, Elliotte, 2, and Wyatt, 4.
“I’m being taken to the woodshed when it comes to what’s being on the TV. I tried to put on Tropic Thunder the other day and Kylie made me turn it off right at the opening scene. The guy’s guts are all out.”
“She’s like, ‘Jason, what are you doing? Turn it off. Jason,’ And Wyatt’s just staring at it like this,” he said, mimicking the preschooler being transfixed on the screen. “I’m like, ‘What kind of damage am I doing right now to my daughter?’ ”
“We watch a lot of Pocahontas and Aladdin,” he concluded.
During last week’s episode of the podcast, Jason talked about sharing his love of Aladdin with his daughters.
“Kylie gets mad at how much I turn on Aladdin,” he shared. “I’ve turned our girls into huge Aladdin fans.”
Travis agreed with his brother’s affinity for the film, adding, “I’ll just start — I’ll sing Aladdin all the time, just in my head.”
The 31-year-old mom of three recently shared a throwback photo that helped her realize how much eldest daughter Wyatt and youngest Bennett look alike at the same age.
Looking back at a photo of Wyatt around 8 months, Kylie wrote, “I just hit copy paste,” over the picture of Bennett and Wyatt displaying the same beaming smiles. Kylie then shared the same snap alongside her daughter’s names to specify who was who.
The couple tied the knot in Philadelphia in April 2018 and often share snaps of their family life.
