For the first time ‘Jackson Mahomes buries his dark side by following in Patrick’s footsteps in project that will help many

Jackson Mahomes tends to be in the headlines for negative reasons but the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is now working with a charity to put some good into the world.

Patrick is known for being extremely charitable and he is regularly giving a lot of his earnings away to those who need it more than him, and now Jackson thinks that he ought to take a leaf out of his brother’s book.

Jackson has joined a non-profit organization, RMHC-KC (Ronald McDonald House Charities), to help the needy.

He recently shared an Instagram story in which he can be seen wearing an apron featuring the organization’s logo and he was doing various chores to help out.

The popular TikToker wrote a caption along with the story: “Great day volunteering at the @rmhckc!!”

This Kansas City-based organization “keeps families near their sick children while they get the care and supportive services they need,” as per their IG bio.

Mahomes is giving back
Back in March 2024, Mahomes pleaded guilty to a solitary misdemeanor charge of assault, so perhaps he feels that this voluntary work is a way to make amends.

The legal saga unfurled over a span of more than two months, during which prosecutors opted to drop three felony charges of aggravated sexual assault.

These allegations stemmed from accusations that Jackson Mahomes forcibly grasped a woman by the neck and forcibly kissed her within the confines of an Overland Park, Kansas, eatery in February 2023. Mahomes received a sentence of six months’ probation in connection with the alleged assault on a woman.

The decision to jettison the weightier charges was informed by the woman’s reluctance to cooperate, as explained in a court filing.
