The tennis icon stepped onto the red carpet in a silver Marc Jacobs mini dress with a high slit, after revealing last August that she has been using a GLP-1 medication to help with weight loss.
She accessorized the look with gold heels, with golden vines wrapping up her right leg.
While her husband Alexis Ohanian was not in attendance, sister Venus Williams was spotted earlier on the carpet wearing a Swarovski crystal mesh gown inspired by Robert Pruitt’s Venus Williams, Double Portrait. Venus is a co-chair for this year’s Met Gala along with Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Anna Wintour.
