Bills 20 - 17 Chiefs summary, stats, scores and highlights | Week 14

KC cut into the lead even more with this Patrick Mahomes pass to one of his new favorite targets in Rashee Rice. Mahomes went 25/43 for 271 yards, one TD and one INT. but it wouldn’t be enough for the Chiefs would would get their chances to take the lead after a late field goal from Tyler Bass put the Bills up 20-17 with a 39 yard field right after the Two Minute Warning.

With no Isiah Pacheco in the backfield the Chiefs relied on their back up RBs Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon to carry the load. McKinnon took this 7 yard into the endzone as the KC RB put the homeside on the board right before the halftime break.

The Bills were on the verge of running away with the game late in the first half, but Allen was picked off by Chamarri Conner and that would allow the Chiefs a chance to bring life into what was a silenced Arrowhead Stadium.

Josh Allen is at his best when he is able to use a blend of his arm and his legs. He didn’t put up jaw dropping numbers on the groung, going for just 32 yards on 10 carries but he made big plays when he and the Bills needed them. He took this seven yard carry into the endzone dragging the pile for the final three.

Allen ended the night with 233 yards on 23/42 with one TD and one INT.

Right before the final five game stretch of the season, the Bills had their BYE week and came into this game in Arrowhead fresh. It showed in the first half, as James Cook took the keys to the car and carries Buffalo to start the game. He had 131 total yards, and this wide open TD catch to open up the scoring.

This was a much different game than that one we are used to, or expect to see these two teams play. This one was dominated by defense as both Allen and Mahomes were neutralized. The Bills defense came up with a big play on the opening drive of the series, with this tip and pick from AJ Epenesa.

The Bills hang on tonight, and hang on to their playoff hopes with a monumental win tonight from KC.
