Since that internet-breaking first appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears game in September, Taylor Swift has become a fixture at boyfriend Travis Kelce’s games.
However, even when the 34-year-old singer isn’t watching from the crowd, she is on the football star’s mind. Kelce passed a poster of the pop star while heading to pre-game warm-ups at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sunday. The image was taken during Swift’s performance at the venue in May, as part of her record-breaking Eras Tour.
In the now-viral clip, a small smile passes across the face of the Chiefs’ tight end as he spots his girlfriend on the wall.
“Travis checking out Taylor’s Gillette poster,” wrote @swifferupdates alongside the footage, which has received over 1 million views on X—the social network formerly known as Twitter.
“His motivation,” added @13Kyo.
“Love Taylor And Kelce,” commented Sajid. “Rooting For Them.”
“Travis kelce the man that you are,” posted ella, alongside a crying emoji.
“That’s adorable!!” wrote Elizabeth, while Ainsley added: “Someone sedate me.”
Swift was outraged on her boyfriend’s behalf during the game, after Kelce was knocked over by Patriot defender Myles Bryant. The Grammy winner’s furious reaction was caught on camera, with Swift jumping up in frustration and seemingly yelling “F***.”
Despite her indignation, the Chiefs went on to win the game, beating the Patriots 27-17.
Wearing a Chiefs’ sweatshirt and a beanie with Kelce’s #87 on the front, the pop icon watched the game from a suite alongside her father Scott Swift, singer Alana Haim, stylist Ashley Avignone and Brittany Mahomes—wife of Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Rumors that Swift and Kelce were dating started circling in the summer, after the football star confessed to having a crush on the singer. During an episode of his “New Heights” podcast—which he shares with brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce—the 34-year-old said he had attended her gig at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce had planned to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his telephone number on it, only to discover that she wasn’t doing meet-and-greets.
Still, reports that the pair had been “quietly hanging out” started to spread in September, with Swift later saying that she reached out to Kelce after the podcast episode.
During an interview with Time—with Swift named the magazine’s “Person of the Year” for the second time in 2023—the “Bad Blood” singer said they had been dating since July.
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift added.
“We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”
Swift regularly began attending the NFL star’s games, but the couple didn’t confirm their relationship until November with a kiss at the music icon’s concert in Argentina.
Although Swifties can’t get enough of the romance, NFL fans have been less than thrilled with the star’s presence. The “Anti-Hero” singer was recently dubbed one of “the two most hated people in the NFL”—along with Brittany Mahomes—due to the amount of coverage she receives during Kelce’s games.
