Great news: we are once again so back. After missing two Chiefs games in a row, Taylor Swift showed up at the team’s Monday night game against the Saints—arriving in her best look yet. What we have here is a matching plaid corset and kilt set (by Vivienne Westwood), paired with black knee-high boots.
Taylor’s absence at the past two Chiefs games caused a lot of inevitable-but-incorrect speculation about her and Travis’ relationship status, but turns out there was a simple reason she skipped. Actually, reasons. For one, Taylor is busy prepping for the Eras Tour, which kicks off again in Miami on October 18. But on top of that, it’s harder for her to attend Chiefs games away from “home” (aka Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium) due to security concerns.
As a source told who spoke to Page Six put it, “If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns. She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”
So there you have it! Oh, and in case tonight’s appearance isn’t making it obvious, an insier also told Entertainment Tonight that “Taylor and Travis are still together and doing well. He’s been busy with the NFL season, and she has been enjoying some time off before her upcoming shows. Even though Taylor isn’t currently touring, she is still very busy with work and sorting out her upcoming plans.”
