Iran demands trump to be removed from power before they open strait of Hormuz.

A top Iranian official is making a demand that Washington has used on other governments for decades: nothing moves until the other side’s leader is gone.
Mohammad-Bagher Zolghadr, a political adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, says Iranian forces will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz until after President Trump is removed from power.
The Iranian news agency WANA published the statement, timed to 200 days of what he called public resistance.
He called the closure “the first stage of our people’s revenge.”
It’s unclear whether the demand is Iran’s formal negotiating position or Zolghadr’s own message. It goes past the terms he set in August, when he said Washington would have to halt military action, pull back forces, lift sanctions, release frozen assets and pay compensation.
The closure itself is real. Just three commercial vessels crossed Hormuz on Sept. 16, against a 10-day average of 17, though ships with transponders off may go uncounted.
Before the war, close to a fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas moved through it.
The timing isn’t a coincidence. Trump is set to meet Gulf leaders at the UN next Tuesday to discuss a war now in its seventh month.
